Interior Designer | Fedde’s Furniture

"We all have a story that reveals our essence, values, and abilities."

I studied Fashion Design in college, and after earning my degree, I secured a job in the Los Angeles Fashion District designing children’s wear. It was a wonderful opportunity that inspired me to strive for more. From that experience, I developed the dream of owning my own gift gallery— a place where I could offer a variety of beautifully and uniquely designed items for both the home and personal adornment.

I was incredibly grateful when I realized that dream in 1997 by opening Pleasantville Gallery in South Pasadena. It felt like an artist’s palette—an opportunity to express my aesthetic abilities across two large spaces filled with a range of lovely and beautiful items. It was a feast for the senses. I was able to flex my creative muscles while attracting a wonderful community of customers who welcomed both the gallery and me. The feedback from my clientele was overwhelmingly positive. They felt at ease in an atmosphere that was relaxed and inviting, where they could forget about the outside world.

After a decade, I returned to school to earn my degree in Interior Design. In addition to my active freelance work with “Essential Designz,” I am currently an in-house interior designer at Fedde’s Furniture, a highly respected and distinctive furniture gallery in Pasadena. When my clients invite me into their homes and share their ideas and hopes for a new atmosphere in their spaces, I understand that they are placing their trust in me. I consider it a privilege to accompany them on this journey.

I draw on my accumulated knowledge of blending different fabrics, textures, and colors. I ensure that all the silhouettes complement one another, creating harmony in each space. Ultimately, my goal is to reflect the dreams and tastes of my clients in every aspect of my design.
